In class: We completed reading Chapter 1 in World Without Fish. Then, we finished workbook pages 10-11 and analyzed a diagram of the ocean food web. Next, we began to read Chapter 2 text pp. 21 and 28--33. We constructed a gist statement for the reading then completed text-dependent questions in our workbook pp. 12--13.
Next week, we will take our mid-unit assessment which will measure our ability to read and find answers to text-dependent questions. It is important to practice this skill!
