Class Work and Homework for Thursday, 2/6/20

In class:  We completed the rough drafts of our concrete poems/monologues and got a peer edit on WB pp. 149--150.  Then, we worked on final drafts of poem/monologue including coloring the illustrations on the poem.
Time permitting:  We began poem analysis for "Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout Would Not Take the Garbage Out."

 Homework:  Readworks #10: "The Road Not Taken"

In class :  We completed POV review for the beginning of Chapter 5 in the workbook pp. 21--22.  We also completed a reflection sheet for the mid-unit assessment and then started the End-of-Unit assessment for point of view. Homework :  Finish up that Readworks #13! Have a great weekend!  Don't forget to "Spring Forward!"
